Tour 05 - Guerlédan Heights Tour
Guerlédan Heights.
Adult prices from 44€ per person (based on a group of nine adult guests booking as a single party)
Join us for this short tour of four iconic "allée couverte" tombs, set on the high ground overlooking the Lac de Guerlédan in central Brittany, just to the west of Mur-de-Bretagne.
After meeting at our rendezvous point close to the Nantes-Brest canal, we travel up a beautiful little gorge to seek out a cluster of three neolithic tombs that each have stories to tell. We'll then move to another fascinating and unique location nearby. Here you'll find a blending of two cultures, separated by roughly four thousand years.
This is a perfect tour for parties that would like to take a glimpse of Brittany's ancient past when they don't have too much time to spend. The tour takes around two and half hours and does not involve too much walking. Be aware, however, that there are one or two steep slopes to negotiate towards the end of the tour, so make sure you have adequate outdoor footwear.
This tour is ideal if you are taking a boating holiday along the Nantes-Brest Canal.
